Artist Kazune Kawahara has drawn a one-shot bonus High School Debut story called " Osananajimi wa Gakunenchō" (My Childhood Friend is the Class President) in the May issue (on sale on March 28) of Shueisha 's Deluxe Margaret shōjo magazine.

The official Japanese website for the Monochrome Factor anime series has posted the second promotional movie for the project. The anime adapts Kaili Sorano 's manga about a high school boy named Akira who becomes a shin — a creature of the shadow world — to restore the balance between that world and the human world.
