The World Cosplay Summit (WCS) will be adding an Australian segment to the international cosplay competition. Australian anime convention Animania will be hosting the Australian round of qualifying.

The Tokyo International Anime Festival has announced the titles that will be participating in its animecs TIFF program, which consists of premieres and feature showings of the latest new anime films and episodes from leading Japanese studios.
