Lee Chi Ching, the 43-year-old Hong Kong artist behind the Sun Zi's Tactics comic series, has won the first International Manga Award from Japan's Foreign Ministry. Lee based his 1995-2006 work on the real-life Chinese military strategist that wrote The Art of War.

The Solid State Society arrives on DVD in July. June 25, 2007 - On July 3, 2007, Manga Entertainment will release Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society on DVD. The latest entry into the Ghost in the Shell series will be available in both a regular edition DVD and a limited edition Steelbook DVD, and will feature bonus materials and extra features.
