Gliding as from one dream to another, Princess Tutu continues her search for the shards of her prince's heart. Yet each returned piece plunges her deeper into nightmare, until her nemesis, the raven princess Kraehe, arises, along with Duck's doubt. Whether as Princess Tutu or Duck, she questions her quest in helping Mytho, the prince.
Princess Kraehe believes that she knows what's best for Mytho and stands between Princess Tutu and the prince. Meanwhile, Mytho's cold and mysterious friend, Fakir, is always around to tell him what do. Princess Tutu must now decide who has the best intentions for Mytho. Duck's dedicated inquiry has set her heart to quaking. Where is man happier after all: in dreaming or in waking?
