All Shuichi ever dreamed about was following in the footsteps of his pop idol, Ryuichi Sakuma and the band Nittle Grasper. Together with his best friend Hiro, Shuichi's formed a band called Bad Luck and they've even managed to get signed to a major recording label! Unfortunately, the studio deadlines are looming and Shuichi still hasn't finished the lyrics for any of the songs. What he needs is a little inspiration... but he's been running a little low in that department lately. While Hiro recommends findinga girlfriend, fate has other things in store for him... Walking through the park late one night, Shuichi's latest lyrics flutter away and land at the feet of a stunning stranger that takeshis breath away. Unfortunately, that mysterious stranger happens to be the famous novelist Eiri Yuki, who completely crushes the young singer by telling him he has "zero talent". Now, Shuichi's so annoyed that he's managed to finish his song just so he can find and confront Yuki once again. But, are his actions really motivated by anger, or has he actually fallen in love? Ever since he met Eiri Yuki, Shuichi's world has been turned upside down! Bad Luck now has a new manager: a gun-toting maniac by the name of K. He's managed to land them their first big break and it's even on TV! Unfortunately, it's not the kind of break any of them were expecting...
Even as Bad Luck's star begins to rise, Shuichi places his relationship with Yuki in serious trouble when he decides to move into Yuki's place without telling him. If Yuki has his way, Shuichi will be right back out on the street! If things weren't bad enough, the arrival of a mysterious young woman is about to really throw things into turmoil. It seems she's looking for Yuki because she's his fiancee! Shuichi begins to realize that he doesn't really know anything about Yuki's past. Could this mean the end for Yuki and Shuichi's relationship?

Bad Luck is breaking up?! Things are crumbling left and right. Shuichi, still recovering from his run-in with Taki Aizawa, is beginning to have second thoughts about his future with Bad Luck. His soaring popularity and fierce rivalry with ASK are threatening to really hurt Yuki... Will he quit Bad Luck just to keep Yuki safe? Meanwhile, Shuichi's love for Yuki may be unshakable, but their relationship is falling apart. Yuki is becoming increasingly more reclusive and Shuichi will do anything to discover why.
